Observer of the Year 2019 – Ken Nevitt

Congratulations to Ken Nevitt for winning the SHGAM Observer of the Year Competition, judged by Mark Farnworth. The shield was presented to Ken by the Mayor, Councillor Janet Johnson at the Group’s AGM on Thu 13th June.

Congratulations to new Local Observer Valarie Cunningham

Congratulations to Valarie Cunningham who has completed her Observer Training with the Group and in the process of being registered as Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) approved IAM RoadSmart Local Observer. 1st July 2019 – Confirmation received that Val is a registered IMI Local Observer. Well done Val.

Observer Steven Taylor has decided (due to wok commitments) to hang-up his clip-board and retire from observing. Steven became a ‘Local Observer’ in August 2016. The Chairman and  Committee would like to thank Steven for his service to the Group and wish him well for the future.
